Some like to collect stamps or rocks or bottle caps. We like to collect and share long ago memories through things from the past. Our goal is to maintain memorabilia that will excite and intrigue generations. We hope our visitors will experience what it was like then...seeing things they won't see anywhere else. We are a 501©(3) non-profit organization. All are welcome. We are non-partisan and non-discriminatory.

The Georgetown Historical Society's mission is to foster an appreciation of the heritage of Georgetown and Sussex County by collecting, preserving, and displaying meaningful artifacts for education and pleasure.
